Meet Elizabeth
I have been deeply honoured to serve the people of Whitby as a municipal leader for over 30 years. My journey began as a Whitby trustee and board chair for the Durham District School Board, followed by roles as a local councillor and regional councillor, before being elected mayor in 2022.

I dedicated more than three decades to healthcare as a medical radiation therapist. As a proud mother of three grown children, a grandmother of two, and a committed community volunteer, I believe deeply in the strength of our town and its people.
